Golden Gate Engagement
Over six decades ago, Leland’s grandfather proposed to his grandmother on the Golden Gate Bridge. About three decades ago, Mackenna’s parents strolled out to the halfway point and decided to spend their lives together. So, even though we decided pretty early on to tie the knot (as in three days after we met…) Mackenna wasn’t allowed to keep the ring on her finger until we made the family pilgrimage out to the bridge and Leland officially proposed. We both cried and laughed a lot :).
